Achilles Olive Farms
Who we are …
- Fotios Tsalafoutas (Agriculturalist, MSc in Food Science and Human Nutrition and MBA in Agribusiness) and
- Loukas Tsalafoutas (Agriculturalist, MSc in Agricultural Engineering, MSc in Agricultural Science and Msc in Farm Business Management and Advisory Services for Rural Development)
Since 2013, they had decided to leave Athens, in order to follow their common dream. They started to cultivate their traditional olive farms (>more than a century of life), which are the heritage fromvtheir ancestors.
In 2015, the Achilles Olive Farms team was increased, with two more members:
- Andromache Agiangkatzoglou (Agriculturalist, MSc in Food Science and Human Nutrition and MBA in Agribusiness) and
- Evlavia Tourkantoni (Agriculturalist, MSc in Agricultural Engineering, MSc in Agricultural Science and Msc in Farm Business Management and Advisory Services for Rural Development) were added.
All of them are the fifth olive producer generation. They try to evolve the olive cultivation with respect to traditional methods and the uniqueness of their products.
